What Does The Lounge Offer?

The Homeschool Support Program is designed for students seeking a structured environment to guide their independent educational journey. This program is Bring Your Own Curriculum (BYOC), allowing parents to choose the curriculum that best fits their child's needs. We provide a variety of resources to support families in customizing their children's learning experience, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education. Our on-site educators work closely with families to create a personalized educational experience that meets each student’s unique needs. 

 We partner with AHS K-12, accredited by Cognia, ensuring a seamless transfer process with no need to file a homeschool intent! Our program equips parents to customize their children's education, providing 24/7 access to digital, interactive, accredited schooling.

On-site educators collaborate with families and AHS counselors to create personalized learning experiences that cater to each student’s unique needs.

Empowered Learning allows families to choose what and when their students learn, emphasizing self-directed education. This program fosters curiosity and academic growth while providing structured support through an accredited curriculum.

 Afternoons and Weekends provide students with a safe and welcoming environment to meet, hang out, and engage in meaningful activities. Here, students can receive homework help, sign up for peer tutoring, and request professional tutors as needed. They can also create clubs and participate in various activities designed to foster friendships and personal growth. Our program offers families peace of mind, knowing their children are in a secure space where they can thrive socially and academically. 

The Teen Lounge provides a safe and welcoming space for high school students to connect and build friendships. Open from 6-8 PM Monday to Thursday and Friday and Saturday until 10 PM, teens can hang out, create clubs, and engage in fun activities, including Friday Movie Nights and Saturday Game Nights. Throughout the year, we host various teen-centered activities, offering opportunities for social interaction and personal development in a relaxed environment.

We offer our members the opportunity to reserve rental rooms and the entire facility for events or casual hangouts. Our spaces include:

• The Movie Room: Enjoy cozy bean bags and a projector screen, perfect for private movie nights.
• Mountain Meeting: A versatile space ideal for study groups, project planning, or board games.
• Walk on the Quiet Side: A peaceful room designed for reading, relaxing, or studying in a calm environment.

Members can reserve individual room spaces for free during normal operating hours. For those looking to host events, the entire facility, including the play space and movie screen, is available for just $50 on Saturdays before noon and all day Sunday.
